Rockwell Collins appoints new leadership to facilitate growth in International and Service Solutions business

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (July 20, 2010) - To further expand Rockwell Collins' international growth strategy, the company recently announced new leadership appointments within its International and Service Solutions organization (I&SS).

The I&SS organization was formed in February 2010 by merging the former International Business and Technical Service Solutions organizations. The new organization was formed with the purpose of further growing Rockwell Collins commercial and defense business in the global marketplace while capitalizing on the company's strength in providing superior customer support from locations around the world. 

The following newly created positions, reporting to Greg Churchill, Executive Vice President, I&SS, include:

• Scott Gunnufson has been appointed Vice President and General Manager, Service Solutions. Gunnufson will focus on service sales and profit that support the Commercial and Government business units, providing leadership and strategic direction globally to the services organization.
• LeAnn Ridgeway has been appointed Vice President and Managing Director, Americas.  Ridgeway will be responsible for leading business development for all services in North and South America.  In addition, she will have responsibility for operations, facilities and business development of commercial and government products in the Americas, with the exception of the United States. 
• Ken Estelle has been appointed Senior Director, Business Development. Estelle will align his organization to focus on supporting the service needs of the Commercial and Government business units. His team will also support the regional sales and marketing teams.
• Thierry Tosi has been appointed Vice President, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). He will be responsible for the development of international strategic plans in support of key business pursuits in the global markets served by I&SS, and he will focus on identifying and pursuing mergers and acquisition and business alliance opportunities internationally.
